Founder and Owner of Jammin’ Jenn Music Therapy for Children, Jennifer Pacht – Goodman is a Certified Music Therapist in Watchung, New Jersey. She was Educated at The Boston Conservatory of Music and holds a Masters Degree in Music Therapy from NYU. She has performed all over the world as a singer and actress, but now devotes her professional life to enhancing the lives of children with special needs. Jenn is a seasoned music therapist having practiced for 18 years. At Jammin’ Jenn Music Therapy she is chief music therapist and oversees and supervises all music therapy programs carried out by her practice. Jenn is married to her husband and business partner. She has two wonderful kids Zachary , and Carly. She resides in Somerset County, New Jersey.
Ed graduated from Tulane University with a degree in business. He is also a life-long piano player, songwriter, and overall lover of music. Ed’s previous professional life was on Wall Street. However, in a twist of fate, ultimately his love for music has him beyond thrilled with the best job he’s ever had managing the Jammin’ Jenn Practice since late 2012. Ed gladly spends most of his time working in many capacities at Jammin’ Jenn including managing
staff, coordinating and overseeing programs for our clients, scheduling, invoicing and billing, and other administrative tasks. When not managing Jammin’ Jenn Ed enjoys time with his wife and children, listening to and playing music, exercising, and hanging out with old dear friends. Ed continues to be very proud to be a part of the Jammin’ Jenn team and the wonderful benefits our staff delivers through music to so many.
Jennifer works as the Accounting Manager of Jammin’ Jenn Music Therapy. She graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA with a bachelor’s in science degree in Accounting. She has worked at a variety of companies in all different industries and sizes. Jennifer loves working with her Jammin’ Jenn clients. She is married to her husband Larry and they have two amazing kids Sydney and Maxwell. She resides in Bergen County, NJ.
Zach Goodman graduated from Tulane University with a BFA in Music Science & Technology and Computer Science, combining a lifelong passion for music with a strong technical and analytical foundation. In July 2025, Zach officially joined the family practice, Jammin’ Jenn Music Therapy, where he contributes across accounting, enrollment, and administrative operations that help keep the practice running smoothly. Growing up surrounded by music and Music Therapy, Zach brings both a personal connection and a modern skill set to the Jammin’ Jenn team. When not working for Jammin’ Jenn, Zach spends much of his time playing music as a guitarist and songwriter.
Amanda graduated from University of Connecticut with a Bachelors in Music, Minor in Psychology, and also received her Masters in Music Therapy from Montclair State University. She currently resides in Montclair, NJ with her husband and daughter. Amanda plays clarinet, guitar, and piano; and thoroughly enjoys using these instruments to evoke powerful music experiences with groups as well as individuals throughout New Jersey. In addition to working as a Jammin’ Jenn Music Therapist, Amanda has taken on the role as Adult Services Coordinator, and is passionate about spreading the power and joy of music to adults all throughout the state through our DDD approved virtual Music Therapy services.
Music has always been a passion for Amanda, and she is incredibly thankful for the opportunity to musically connect with children and adults on a daily basis!
Aaron is a Board Certified Music Therapist who received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Therapy as a Voice Primary from Montclair State University. Aaron is proficient in many instruments including guitar, piano, saxophone, and clarinet. Prior to graduation, Aaron completed his internship at Matheny Medical and Educational Center where he worked with children and adults with various kinds of developmental disabilities at all levels of functionality. Aaron has worked with a wide range of populations including hospice and dementia patients, as well as children and adults with psychiatric disorders. Aside from Music Therapy, Aaron is also a passionate vocal performer who has collaborated at the collegiate and professional level with many prestigious organizations in the United States, England, and Italy including the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and the Richard Alston Dance Company. As an Eagle Scout, Aaron has always had a deep desire to help people from all walks of life, and he implements his love of helping people by utilizing his passion for music through his therapeutic practices. Working with Jammin’ Jenn Music Therapy has given him a way to serve the community in the meaningful way he has always wanted, and he is thrilled to be a part of such a dynamic team of music therapists!
Melinda is thrilled to be a part of the Jammin Jenn Music Therapy team. Melinda completed her Master’s degree in 2018. Melinda interned at Matheny Medical and Educational Center where she worked with both children and adults with intellectual disabilities, as well as physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and lesch-nyhan syndrome. Other music therapy experiences include working with children with developmental disabilities at the Ben Samuel’s Children Center, working with adults at Gen Psych Rehabilitation Center, and working with older adults with dementia as Runnel’s specialized hospital. Melinda has several years of experience teaching private vocal and piano lessons, music directing, and she earned a BFA in musical theater from Ithaca College. This degree led her to performing across the country in various musical theater productions, Broadway national tours, and Off-Broadway productions. Melinda is also a mom to a wonderful daughter.
Andrew has his Masters Degree in Music Therapy and is a Board Certified Music Therapist. He has worked with children and adolescents with special needs, in musical capacities and otherwise, for the past twelve of his thirty years, and is very excited to be a part of the Jammin’ Jenn team. Andrew additionally works at Academy360 Lower School as a paraprofessional, and is also an accomplished songwriter, guitarist, and frequent participant of the local music community in and around his hometowns of Ridgewood and Montclair, New Jersey.
Haley graduated with a degree in Music Therapy with a concentration in voice from Montclair State University and interned at Waveny LifeCare Network in New Canaan, Connecticut. Haley is experienced in guitar, ukulele, piano and voice and has been involved in many different musicals and professional choirs. She has worked with kids for many years in many different capacities, including music therapy. Haley is so excited to be working with Jammin Jenn Music Therapy and can’t wait to continue to provide fun, beneficial, and progress oriented musical experiences to all Jammin’ Jenn clients!
Sara is a board certified music therapist who has received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Music Therapy from Montclair State University. Sara’s primary instrument is percussion but is proficient in voice, guitar, and piano. Sara completed her internship working with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities at United Community Options in Miami, Florida. She has facilitated individual and group music therapy sessions, as well as provided classroom support and behavior management. She also has experience working with adults with various developmental disabilities at all levels of functionality, Cerebral palsy, and adults with psychiatric disorders. She has given adaptive guitar and piano lessons, and directed a small children’s choir. Sara is thrilled to share her love of music and be a part of the Jammin Jenn Family!
Bri is a board certified music therapist who received her Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Music Therapy, with a concentration in voice from Montclair State University. Bri completed her music therapy internship working with children grades k-6 with ASD, behavioral and emotional disabilities in Fairfax, Virginia.
She is currently located in Bayville, NJ. Bri has experience working with children and adults with diverse backgrounds and varying abilities. She is passionate about using music as a tool to help clients reach their individualized goals. She has experience facilitating individual and group sessions, both tele-health and in person. Bri is so excited to be working alongside the Jammin’ Jenn team, using her passion of music and helping others to work with her clients!
Dana has her Masters Degree in Music Therapy from Montclair State University and is a Board Certified Music Therapist. She has worked with children with special needs, as a paraprofessional for the Hawthorne Board of Education from 2020-2022. Dana completed her music therapy internship at Elizabeth Seton Children’s Center where she worked with medically fragile children and is very excited to be a part of the Jammin’ Jenn team. Dana additionally, works as a manager for her parent’s ice cream business Curly’s Ice Cream located in Boonton, NJ. Her favorite ice cream flavor is cookies & cream. She has also started to broaden her creative side as a songwriter, and is a self-taught guitarist. Dana looks forward to continuing providing the best music experiences for all of her Jammin’ Jenn clients.
Donna is thrilled to be a part of the Jammin' Jenn team! Donna completed her Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy at Montclair State University with a primary instrument of voice, and completed her Music Therapy internship at Fellowship Senior Living in Basking Ridge, NJ. Donna has vast Music Therapy experience working with populations ranging from seniors with Alzheimer's and dementia to children with autism spectrum disorder. Aside from music therapy, Donna enjoys singing in venues in the Asbury Park area!
Nicky is excited to be a part of the Jammin' Jenn team! She completed her bachelor's in Music Therapy at Montclair State University studying Jazz Bass. She completed her internship at The Louis Armstrong Center for Music and Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Nicky has a well-rounded background in Music Therapy and has worked with several different populations. Aside from Music Therapy, Nicky enjoys reading novels and playing guitar and bass in various venues in the Asbury Park area.
Olivia is a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) with a Bachelor of Music Therapy and a Minor in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada. Olivia believes that music plays an important role in health and she is passionate about using music as a therapeutic tool to support the well-being of her clients. Olivia’s main instrument is voice, and she plays guitar, ukulele, and piano. In addition to being a music therapist, Olivia is a songwriter, performer, and teaches adapted music lessons in voice, guitar, ukulele, and piano. Olivia loves working with children and adults with special needs, as well as individuals with Alzheimers and dementia. Olivia is excited to offer Telehealth services at Jammin’ Jenn. She is thankful for the opportunity to share her passion and love for music to support each individual that she works with.
Elizabeth (Betsy) Barone is a dually certified music therapist and child life specialist specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) music therapy. Elizabeth received her Master’s from Montclair State University and her Bachelor in Arts from Emerson College. As a music therapist, she has worked in various clinical settings including pediatrics, PICU, bereavement care, as well as, with children and adults with developmental delays and psychiatric rehabilitation.
Emily is a board certified music therapist and graduate of the John J. Cali School of Music at Montclair State University. She currently resides in Blackwood, New Jersey, and serves as secretary of the New Jersey Association for Music Therapy. Throughout her clinical training, Emily has had experience servicing young adults with cerebral palsy in a medical/education center in addition to pediatric patients at K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital. Emily completed her clinical internship at Young Children’s Center for the Arts (Philadelphia), where she supported both neurodivergent and neurotypical children in an early intervention setting and discovered her niche in developmental music therapy. Emily has a natural love for working with children and is passionate about using music-based experiences to support growth across developmental domains, encourage self-expression, and promote overall well-being throughout childhood. Outside of music therapy, Emily enjoys exploring local restaurants/coffee shops, traveling, and running a small business alongside her mom. Emily feels truly blessed to work in such a rewarding field and make music with her clients each day!
Emily is a board-certified music therapist who received her Bachelor of Arts in Music Therapy from Montclair State University. Voice is Emily's primary instrument, but she is also proficient in piano, guitar, and flute. She has experience working with a wide range of populations, from young children with intellectual or developmental disabilities to older adults with dementia and other related medical diagnoses. Emily completed her music therapy internship at Fellowship Village Senior Living in Basking Ridge, NJ, where she worked with seniors in a residential care setting.
Emily is passionate about using music to highlight each person’s individuality while promoting connection, autonomy, overall well-being, and other therapeutic goals. She is grateful for the opportunity to work with diverse clients in individual and group settings, both in person and via telehealth, and values the meaningful connections established each day!
Justis Krar (BMus, MTA) is a Certified Music Therapist and professional musician. After completing an internship with a multi-disciplinary team at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability in London, United Kingdom, he returned to Canada and began working with clients in one-on-one and group settings.
His clinical experiences range from supporting clients in neuro-rehabilitation, complex long-term care and those with learning and physical disabilities.
Justis utilizes the guitar, songwriting and music technology in his clinical work to assist clients in communicating and expressing their thoughts and feelings.
A central tenet of Justis’s work is accessibility, particularly the need for diverse means and methods of creating music. His research on inclusion in community music has been published in the International Journal of Community Music and in the anthology Community Music at the Boundaries (Wilfrid Laurier University Press).
Before studying music therapy, Justis completed a diploma in Music Industry Arts at Fanshawe College and toured North America, the UK and Europe. He loves to talk about guitar pedals and will happily deconstruct the rhythms of any Meshuggah song.
Leah graduated with her Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy degree from Temple University. She interned at Paul’s Run Retirement Community in Northeast Philadelphia, where she provided services to older adults with Alzheimer's and dementia. Her primary instrument is voice, but she is also proficient in guitar, piano, and percussion.
As a music therapist, she has worked with several populations including children with autism spectrum disorder and adults with varying developmental and intellectual abilities. Leah is thrilled to continue working for the Jammin’ Jenn team!
Haeyoon has been practicing music therapy since 2009, with experience in psychiatric, school, and community-based settings in New York City. She holds a Master’s degree in Music Therapy and is a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) and a Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapist (NRMT) who provides music psychotherapy.
A skilled pianist and singer, she works with children, adults, and families with developmental needs and trauma. Haeyoon is excited to connect with clients through fun, engaging, and meaningful music experiences in New Jersey with Jammin’ Jenn
Nicole is a Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) with a Bachelor of Piano Performance from Queen’s University and a Master of Music Therapy from Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada. She brings a trauma-informed, client-centered approach to her work and believes music is a powerful tool for communication, emotional regulation, and meaningful connection.
Through her clinical training and professional experience, Nicole has worked with a wide range of populations, including children and adults on the Autism Spectrum, individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia, teens experiencing anxiety and depression, veterans, and individuals with eating disorders. She also has a strong focus on supporting women and children in domestic violence shelters, using music to create safe, empowering therapeutic spaces.
In addition to her work as a music therapist, Nicole is a professional musician and piano teacher who offers adaptive music lessons tailored to individual needs. She provides virtual music therapy services with Jammin’ Jenn, supporting clients in self-expression & overall well-being. Nicole is beyond thrilled to be part of the Jammin’ Jenn team and loves creating music-filled moments that help clients reach their goals!
Sherry is a board certified music therapist (MT-BC), with a Bachelor of Arts in music therapy (with a concentration in voice) from Montclair State University. Sherry is primarily a vocalist, but is proficient on the guitar, piano, and various Orff instruments. Sherry has experience working with children and adults with a range of developmental disabilities and mental health challenges, from toddlers to the elderly. Outside of her work as a music therapist, Sherry loves to sing musical theatre and performs at local theaters around northern New Jersey.
Hayley is a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) and an Affiliate to The Academy of Neurologic Music Therapy® (NMT™). She graduated with her Bachelors of Music Therapy and Minor in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada. Hayley has experience working with clients across the lifespan who have various intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities. Creating a space that fosters creativity and personal development is at the core of her practice. Hayley offers engaging virtual music therapy services at Jammin’ Jenn.
Ashley is a passionate and dedicated board-certified music therapist with over seven years of experience. She graduated from Elizabethtown College with a Bachelor's of Music in Music Therapy and a minor in Psychology. She also received her Master of Music Therapy with a Counseling Endorsement from Slippery Rock University. Ashley completed her internship at The Ann Storck Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where she worked mainly with adults and children with a variety of developmental disabilities. In addition to her work as a Jammin' Jenn music therapist, Ashley also works with child and family survivors of trauma. In her free time, she loves writing songs and making music, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Ashley currently resides in Cherry Hill, NJ with her husband and daughter. She is excited to be a part of the Jammin' Jenn team and share and create meaningful music with the adult clients she serves.
